How do I enter CASH in my portfolio
Offline_s turpentine (Basic)   Jul 17, 2010
Go to the Transactions tab, select "CASH IN" from the drop-down, enter the amount, and then select the date of the deposit.

Also, if you wanted to represent taking cash out the process is the same except you select "CASH OUT" from the drop-down.

Have done that, but is there any way to get the cash to show up in the portfolio value?

You can use BIL, which is the cash ETF. It is currently priced at 45.85, so divide the amount of cash by 45.85 and enter the amount of shares.

This ETF will vary by a penny or so, but nothing that will throw off your portfolio.
